Position: Mechanical Engineer

Purpose: Provide mechanical design, technical analysis, and resolution of engineering problems. Work closely with our team of engineers and designers to successfully complete electronic sign designs for Intelligent Transportation Systems.

Summary: Develop new products from concept to engineering release. Work with Skyline Product Management and Sales to define requirements and scope of new products and translate them into working engineering specifications and submittals. Make design layouts in Solid Works software and AutoCAD. Produce detailed engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing. Perform testing for verification and conformance of designs. Oversee the field testing of new products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define product specifications based on requirements from product management, sales and executive management.

Position: QA Software Release Engineer

Description

We are looking for a QA Software Release Engineer to provide quality assurance, compliance to national-level standards, thorough detailed testing of products, and the ability to perform release engineering tasks.  Due to the nature of our product, there are unique testing challenges which always provide opportunity for creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduled and on-demand builds – label, archive, and create/manage releases
  • Design tests for our sign and system software, from the lowest level control firmware to the highest level user interfaces 
  • Work closely with the software and hardware engineers to implement creative testing scenarios, test harnesses/frameworks, and test fixtures
  • Troubleshoot, pinpoint, and resolve complex software integration issues
  • Document SQA procedures
  • Work closely with Product Manager and Sales teams to ensure specification compliance

Position: Senior Software Engineer – Firmware

We are looking for experienced, productive, and motivated self-starters who thrive on challenges and work well in a team environment.  You’ll have major input on the overall design, development, and future enhancements of our software such as a distributed .NET application that communicates with signs, web services, and third party applications.  BS in CS or equivalent and at least 3 years experience required.
